“THE GRAND DEBATE”

On the 4^th of October, the delegates from The Senior Girls Section of The City School Darakhshan Campus took part in “The Grand Debate” at FAST University NU. The delegate was Aroob Zaidi who was allocated with the committee NASCIT and was thoroughly participating in committee discussion. Farheen Zubair along with Fatima Pasha was assigned with the committee SCWP which gave them a sense of understanding of the current water crisis in Pakistan. Sawera Razzak and Zuha Mubin were allocated ini NASCHR and were successful in in passing a committee resolution. Many prestigious Universities such as Karachi University and NED University participated in this Grand Debate. MS Anila Ashiq also accompanied the students to the University for further guidance. This Grand Debate was extremely informative and gave the student knowledge about controversial and political issues. Students also gained confidence and learned public speaking strategies. The students also learned a great deal of social skills.
