CHALLENGES AND TRIUMPHS OF WOMEN IN STEM

On Saturday February 16, 2018 the students of Senior Girls Section, Sneha Santosh, Iman Altaf and Bareera Tariq attended STEMinists of Pakistan: challenges and Triumphs of women in “STEM”, an interactive panel discussion hosted by the British Council Karachi Library. The discussion was moderated by Elin Burns, British High Commissioner in Karachi and Director of Trade of Pakistan. This session addressed the issues, challenges and stereotypes faced by women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. A panel of successful and inspiring women discussed the challenges they faced throughout their journey to success, and   shared their words of wisdom with their youthful and respective audience. Our students participated actively in the discussion.
