Taroob Tariq, Fatima Rafiq and Minahil Shah of grade 11 The
City School, Senior Girls, DK Campus participated in the Dawn National Spelling
Bee competition on 4th Nov 2019 at the Arts Council. The girls emerged
successful in qualifying for Regional round which is set to take place on 9th
Nov in Karachi. They managed to answer all spelling questions in the first and
second round and were part of the elimination round out of three competing
schools and were the first team to qualify for the regional competition. We
hope to see them succeed further and reach the National level round.
